Wokingham Library will host a fun-packed Manga Day on Thursday April 12.

The day will include a series of Manga drawing workshops provided by Red Garden Artists Group and finishing with a Manga club quiz.

As part of the event, Red Garden Manga bookstall will be open from 10am to 4pm selling copies of different Manga books and other goodies. There will also be a Manga drawing wall for participants to show off their Manga drawing talent throughout the day.

The Manga club quiz will test participants Manga and Anime knowledge with questions focussing on Manga general knowledge, Anime theme tunes and Manga culture. The quiz costs £1 per person, maximum of four people per team. Prizes have been kindly provided by Red Garden Manga.

Reader development officer for young people and families Elizabeth McDonald said: "Manga is a really vibrant, creative art form that is inspiring a lot of young people in the Wokingham Borough and I am thrilled to have some great local artists coming along on our Manga Day. There will be a chance for Manga enthusiasts to improve their skills under expert guidance and for those who are new to Manga to discover what it is all about."
