Network Rail, Wokingham Borough Council and Spencer Ltd are working together to dramatically improve the local station – and are looking for local suppliers to register their interest.

Works will involve the creation of a new building for Wokingham Station, a new access roadway, and improved car park facilities – as well the demolition of the old station building.  

A 'Meet the Contractor Day' will be held to give local specialist contractors the chance to be part of significant changes to this essential transport hub in the town. Held on August 16 at Wokingham Town Hall (time to be confirmed), it will give you chance to find out more about the plans, and see how you might be able to benefit from this project.

We are keen to retain inward investment within the Wokingham area and the wider local community. We hope to promote this, as well as to broaden our supplier base, through engagement with the local supply chain and local labour initiatives. We are interested in speaking to local specialist contractors who can demonstrate appropriate expertise and experience in the following trade works.
