The Executive comprises the Leader, Deputy Leader and Executive Members with particular responsibilities.
The Executive is responsible for all strategic decision making with the exeception of those matters reserved to the Council.
Some Executive decisions can be made as Individual Executive Member Decisions, by the relevant Executive member. Details of the items that are delegated can be found in Chapter 5.5 of the Council Constitution
The Trading and Enterprises Sub Committee (a sub committee of the Executive) will play a key role in promoting and properly managing wholly or partly owned Local Authority Companies on behalf of the Council.
Plus the Executive Member with responsibility for the area under discussion.
