The Local Government Act 2000 requires councils to annually review their Members’ Allowances Scheme and to appoint an independent panel to consider and make recommendations on its future schemes.
The current allowance levels were agreed by the Council on 19 May 2011
The Members Allowances Scheme is included in Section 2 of the Constitution and can also be found below.
See below for spreadsheets showing how much each member has been paid during a financial year.
Changes may be made to members payments following elections and Annual Council in May of each year.
Please note that Members do not receive any payments from the Council other than those included in the spreadsheets.
