Our Transformation project is about changing and improving the way we deliver services.
The aims are to:
- Better meet residents demands
- Deliver a modern, customer focused, public sector service organisation
- Provide choice and personalisation
- Help to ensure our long term financial sustainability
Why are we doing this?
We must ensure that we are financially secure and delivering services that are focused on your needs.
Financially we will achieve savings of over £10m over the next 3 Years through staffing efficiencies, better procurement and increasing income.
We are will involving the skills and knowledge of all our staff throughout this.
How will we achieve this?
A series of projects are already underway improving how we currently deliver our services and how we manage our internal activities.
The aim is to investigate how we can operate more efficiently, whilst improving service delivery.
Transformation will look at how services could be delivered through more efficient re-use of resources and sharing knowledge and skills.
We are also improving how we communicate with our customers to understand better what you want us to deliver.
