How to pay your Council Tax

The front of your Council Tax bill shows the total amount to be paid and the amount and due date of each instalment.

 

 

Direct Debit is the cheapest, safest and most efficient way to pay your Council Tax. We offer a choice of 3 payment dates to Direct Debit payers, the 1st, 10th, or 20th of the month.

You can also make a Council Tax payment online. 

 

You can pay by Debit or Credit card, including Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch and Solo cards.

 

When you pay, please have the following details ready:

 

 

You can speak to an operator or use an automated message service. The automated service is available 24 hours a day by calling 0118 989 1609.

 

 

You can post a cheque to us. Cheques should be made payable to 'Wokingham Borough Council'.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you want to pay at a Post Office and you don't have a payment card call us on 0118 974 6029.

 

If you had a payment card last year you can continue to pay using this card. Please make sure that the account reference number on your card is the same as the account reference number shown on your latest bill.
