The Members' allowances scheme

The Local Government Act 2000 requires councils to annually review their Members’ Allowances Scheme and to appoint an independent panel to consider and make recommendations on its future schemes.
 
The current allowance levels were agreed by the Council on 28 June 2007
 
A further review is expected to take place during 2007-2008
 
The latest Allowances Scheme is included in the Constitution.
 
See below for spreadsheets showing how much each member has been paid.
