Thames Water wants to hear your views
Thames Water has been planning its investment strategy and would like to hear your views on its Price Review plans.
Like all water companies in the UK Thames is putting together proposals for work to maintain and improve its services for the period from 2010 to 2015. It will submit its draft plan to the water regulator Ofwat in August and its review will determine how much Thames can invest in different projects across its region. This will set the prices it charges its customers.
Thames Water would like your views on its proposals, to ensure it includes the improvements you would like to see. You can comment as part of the formal consultation by visiting the Thames Water consultation website. You can also request details of the company's plans at any time by emailing consultations@thameswater.co.uk.
Water Resources Management Plan
The Water Resources Management Plan forecasts how much water it expects will be needed over the next 25 years, taking into account factors like climate change and population growth.
It also sets out how it plans to provide the water, and considers ways to reduce demand, such as fitting more meters and helping customers use water wisely, alongside new water supply schemes.
In April 2008 Thames will publish and consult on the draft plan, covering the period 2010 to 2035 and it welcomes your views, which you can send from April to July. For details of the consultation, downloads and how to respond visit he Thames Water consultation website.
