Grants

We are developing a 'Community Strategy' - a vision for the Borough, which is being taken forward by the Council and all its partners through the Wokingham Borough Strategic Partnership - WBSP.

We work with Voluntary Action Wokingham Borough to consider the needs of voluntary and community organisations across the Borough.

How can we help your organisation and community?

Each year we try to allocate a specific part of our budget to funding voluntary and community work. We can fund projects or activities that operate for the benefit of the residents of Wokingham Borough.

Who can apply?

Most non-profit or voluntary groups within the Wokingham Borough will be eligible. See our guidance notes for a full criteria list.  However, please note that our normal deadline for grant applications in the next financial year (from 1st April 2009) will be in Autumn 2008.

How can I apply?

  1. Read our guidance notes to find out if you're eligible
  2. Complete the application form below or email Sue Roberts at: sue.roberts@wokingham.gov.uk
