Gender Equality Duty - our responsibility

The Gender Equality Duty places a responsibility on all public authorities to eliminate sex discrimination and harassment and promote equality of opportunity for men and women. This applies to service provision as well as employment practices.

We have now produced a Gender Equality Scheme, which is attached below, it sets out how it proposes to comply with the Duty.
