Junior Rangers Wildlife WATCH Group
Outdoor Art. Nature and natural things are lovely to look at, but with an artistic eye you can make all sorts of masterpieces out of anything, from twigs and leaves to sand and clay. Join us as we attempt to create some fantastic pieces of natural art.

California Speedway and Hi-de-Hi History Day
A trip down memory lane and the chance to see some of the original bikes that raced on the sand speedway track at California between the 1930s and 1950s. Join two of the Countryside Service rangers on a short walk around the Park and find out more about its fascinating history as a holiday camp. Plus speedway enthusiasts will be sharing their stories and showing visitors the remains of the track and starting line.

Junior Rangers Wildlife WATCH Group
Practical Task. Help the rangers for a morning of conservation work. After a couple of hours work as junior lumberjacks, we will stop for lunch cooked on the bonfire. The Countryside Service will provide potatoes and beans but please bring anything else you would like to cook on the fire. Parents/guardians will need to stay and help and the rest of your family are welcome too.
