Have fun and learn with the Youth Service

The Youth Service offers a big programme of social, educational and informal learning opportunities for people aged 11 to 19. We also work with and support a range of voluntary clubs, associations and groups.

We want you to be there, get involved and have your say. We support and manage the Youth MP process and Y10 - the youth consultation and governance group.

We provide services and opportunities in Youth Centres, on the streets through youth street workers and mobile youth provisions. We do this through projects and residentials and work closely with our voluntary sector partners who do similar work.

You can get details on the exciting things on offer through the individual centre and project web pages by clicking on the buttons on the left.

Youth Centres also provide venues for everything from mother and toddler groups to lunch clubs for the elderly.

Free training and support

For those who are looking for sessional youth work opportunities we offer a free training and support package to those interested in joining us in our work with young people. Our training brochure is attached.
