Death and bereavement
When a loved one dies, there are many arrangements you will need to make. These pages are aimed to help you find the information and support you need at this difficult time.
Death and bereavement support
The Bereavement Advice Centre has a very useful advice and information service on what to do when someone dies. If they cannot provide the information you are looking for, they will often be able to put you directly in touch with someone who can. You will also find The Citizens' Advice Bureau's website helpful. The Department for Work and Pensions provide some useful booklets and leaflets. "What to do after a death in England and Wales" is particularly informative.
