Community wardens

Our team of community wardens patrol the Borough in pairs. Each team is responsible for a specific area. Wardens are not a substitute for the Police or the emergency services, but they complement them.

Our Junior Warden Scheme encourages young people to contribute to the community through a variety of projects, such as litter picking, bike marking and public speaking. Past projects include a Saturday morning cinema group, a community garden, a carol service for older people, and charity fund-raising activities. Contact us to find out more.
