Periodically Community Care Services is able to fund groups who run services which we would describe as Prevention Services. These are services and activities which benefit people who may not meet the criteria to be eligible for social care through the Council, but who can benefit from other types of care and support to prevent their support or care needs worsening. Funding is usually decided on an annual basis but organisations and individuals wishing to approach Community Care Services with a service proposal should contact Commissioning and Development Manager:
