Family records

The Family Records website is a great source of information for tracing your family tree, including providing a beginners guide to family history research. They also provide an excellent selection of other websites to assist you in your searches. This website has recently been merged into the main government information website. If you use the government information website, select 'government, citizens and rights' on the left hand side and then select 'registering life events' followed by 'family history and research'. During this transitional period both website addresses will remain operable.
