There are eight local authority schools in the Wokingham Borough. Secondary school places are allocated by the School Admissions Team in our Children’s Services taking into account:
Children born between September 1, 1999 and August 31, 2000 will move on to secondary school in September 2011. The closing date for applications was October 29, 2010.

Wokingham Borough residents
If you pay Council Tax to Wokingham Borough Council you should complete our application form for any secondary school within the Borough, or for application to schools in other authorities.
If your child does not attend a Wokingham Borough primary school and you require an application pack, please complete the schools interest form.
Residents of other authorities
You must apply for schools using the application form provided by your home local authority. If you are considering a place at a Wokingham Borough school, then it is recommended that you read our parents guide, available in September 2010, to understand the basis on which places will be allocated. Your local authority will forward your child’s application to us.
The parent's guide for 2011/12 will be available to download from early September 2010.

29 October 2010 - Closing date for return of application form and closure of online admissions

1 March 2011 - Parents posted notification of pupils' allocated schools by first class post or if applied online, results can be viewed

15 March 2011 - Closing date for lodging an appeal
