Children with Additional Needs Family Fun and Information Day

This is an annual event for children with additional needs, their families and carers, and professionals who work with them.

2010 Event

This year's event is taking place at the end of June/beginning of July - date and venue to be confirmed shortly.

The day is organised by a group of representatives from Wokingham Borough Council's Children's Services and local voluntary sector organisations - ASD Family Help, Crossroads, Me2 Club, Peapods and Wokingham District Mencap. 

Entertainment

There is a variety of entertainment provided throughout the day for the whole family. This includes:

• A children's magician

• Farm animals

• Model railway

• Arts activities

• Holistic therapies for carers

And much, much more!

Information 

There are information stands run by social care services, other council services and departments, and local support groups and organisations. They cover areas such as education, health, social care, play and leisure activities, childcare and family support.
