The Play Development Team is here to support organisations who are directly or indirectly involved in delivering, supporting or facilitating places or environments where children play.
We provide a number and range of play opportunities through the statutory, voluntary and private bodies and organisations, which include:

- Play in Schools
- Breakfast Play Clubs
- Afterschool Play Clubs
- Holidays Play Clubs
- Playground Play in Schools
- Under 5’s childcare settings
- Stay and Play, parents and toddler

About Play and Active 8
Play and Active 8 is the banner under which we promote and develop service, advice and training to Wokingham families, schools, providers.
We aim to achieve improved services, facilities and a playful place to learn and develop. Play and Active 8 develops service, projects and training in conjunction with a range of internal and external providers to ensure we take the most cost effective route.
The service is interested in working in partnership with others and if you or your organisation is interested in supporting a project or service at any level please contact us.
