Safer food, better business
Safer food, better business - SFBB - is an innovative and practical approach to food safety management. It has been developed by the Food Standards Agency, working with catering businesses, to help small businesses put in place food safety management procedures and comply with food hygiene regulations.
Information packs
There are a number of SFBB packs available:
- Small catering or retail businesses,
- Restaurants and takeaways that serve different cuisines, such as Chinese, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan,
- Care homes,
- A DVD guide is also available in 16 different languages.
The pack will help you to:
- Comply with food hygiene regulations
- Show what you do to make food safely
- Train staff
- Protect your business's reputation
- Improve your business, such as by wasting less food.
