The Economic Development team in Wokingham works closely with both businesses and business support organisations to bring improvement both commercially and economically to Wokingham Borough.

One of the Councils priorities is to support the economy through investment in community facilities and infrastructure, combined with appropriate housing development.

Measures of success for these activity are:

• Appropriate and affordable housing

• Vibrant, sustainable town centres

• More investments in infrastructure

• Enhanced business sustainability

• Contribute to skills development in the local economy
