Partly Occupied Property Relief (S44A)
You are liable for the full business rates whether a property is wholly occupied or only partly occupied. Where a property is partly occupied for a short time we have the discretion to award relief in respect of the unoccupied part for a maximum of three months, or for a maximum of six months if an industrial building.
