Home library service

If you are homebound or have a disability and are unable to visit your nearest library, we may be able to help with the home library service.

What is the Home Library Service?

We provide a home delivery and collection service for books, including large print and spoken word cassettes and CDs to qualifying residents, subject to availability. A trained member of staff or volunteer will deliver books and other items  to match your reading interests to your home or day centre, at a mutually agreed time, once every three weeks.

Who is eligible?

This service is provided to residents who are permanently or temporarily homebound, resulting in them being unable to access any of our libraries.

How do I apply?

To apply you need to complete a Home Library Service application form. Send your completed application to Wokingham Library. Application forms are also available in all local libraries.
